Ellington has confirmed that its first JLT project, “Upper House,” would include 754 units.

Ellington Properties’ Dh1.2 billion residential project in the Jumeirah Lakes Tower high-rise area will feature 754 units and be finished by early 2026. For the “Upper House” project, the developer has selected Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG) as the design firm. Furthermore, this is Ellington’s first commercial venture in JLT. It had formerly operated in Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, MBR City, and JVC.

“The lively neighborhood will help to improve the lifestyles of our Ellington Upper House residents,” says Joseph Thomas, co-founder of Ellington Properties. “We’re expanding our resort-style facilities and design-led dwellings.” “Through this effort, we will support DMCC’s aims to build JLT’s reputation as a centre for positive change,” according to the statement.

JLT property and rental values increased significantly in 2022. Furthermore, the arrival of serviced apartments and upmarket hotels has benefitted the area. In addition, the DMCC free zone registered a record number of new firms in 2022.

The Uptown Dubai development, anchored by the Uptown Tower, has also benefited the JLT area. The office units in the tower have all been pre-leased and will be available later this year. It is currently one of the most sought-after business locations in the area.

Ellington Upper House and its Uptown House are relocating to this neighborhood. “JLT has become one of the most iconic mixed-use complexes in the UAE,” says DMCC’s CEO. As we aim to grow our position, it is critical that we offer new and fascinating things to the district. In the coming years, and our partnership with Ellington Properties achieves exactly that.
